Multi-Site VHF Repeater Network
Design, supply, and commissioning of a multi-site repeater network spanning tens of thousands of acres of conservancy land.
Conservancies required seamless radio coverage across rugged terrain including hills, valleys, and dense bush. Existing analog coverage was patchy and unreliable, leaving rangers unable to coordinate effectively.
Konsüt conducted a full RF site survey, identified hilltop repeater locations, and installed Motorola SLR5500 repeaters at each site. Sites were powered by solar with lithium battery backup. Antenna spacing and duplexer tuning ensured clean simultaneous operation.

Radio Infrastructure & Maintenance
Full radio system installation for a lodge property, including tower/antenna rigging and ongoing maintenance contracts.
Lodges require a reliable communications system for staff, guides, and security — robust enough for daily operational use and simple enough for non-technical staff to operate.
Konsüt supplied and programmed Motorola handheld radios for all departments and installed a local repeater tower to extend coverage across the property, ensuring seamless communication from reception to the most remote guest areas.

Off-Grid Solar Power System
Design and installation of a hybrid solar power system for a remote radio repeater site with no grid connection.
A repeater site had no grid power access. The existing generator solution was expensive to run, prone to failure, and required regular fuel logistics.
Konsüt designed and installed a complete off-grid solar system with monocrystalline panels, a hybrid inverter, and LiFePO4 lithium batteries providing extended autonomy. The system was sized to power the repeater, management systems, and site lighting.

FLIR Thermal Perimeter Surveillance
Deployment of FLIR FH-Series fixed thermal cameras for 24/7 perimeter surveillance at a conservancy.
Poaching attempts were occurring at night, with existing CCTV cameras unable to detect threats in darkness. Rangers needed early warning before threats reached sensitive areas.
Konsüt deployed FLIR FH-Series fixed thermal cameras at key perimeter points, integrated with a central monitoring station. Long-range thermal detection gives rangers early warning of movement — day or night.
